No tracking, just language.
For anonymous visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: fully cookieless and with no personal data. Beyond that, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. One localStorage entry remembers your language choice.
What is a cookie
A cookie or localStorage item is a small piece of data your browser stores for a website. Some are needed to make the site work, others are used to follow you around. We only use the first kind.
What we use
- haloa-lang (localStorage, functional): stores whether you read the site in NL, FR or EN. Not linked to your identity. Stays until you clear localStorage.
For visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data or cross-site tracking. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar, no advertising networks. No profiling.
Third-party cookies
No third-party cookies. We load two external scripts: Google Fonts for our typography and Cloudflare Web Analytics for anonymous statistics. Neither sets cookies.
How to manage them
You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. After that the site will no longer remember your language choice and will fall back to your browser language.
Changes
If we ever add a new category of cookies (for example, anonymous statistics), we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
